Plip install works (even with the latest version RH). The keys
was found at:
http://www.redhat.com/support/docs/rhl/PLIP-Tips/PLIP-Tips-6.html
They are: Set subnet mask to 255.255.255.255 and set default gateway to
the point-to-point ip.

6. Installing

To install Red Hat Linux via PLIP, simply choose to install via NFS or
FTP; when the installation program asks you to choose a network driver,
choose the PLIP driver.

Next, the installation program asks for networking information; here's
what to answer for heffa and lump:

IP address: 10.0.2.21_______ <--(this is lump)
Netmask: 255.255.255.255_
Default gateway (IP): 10.0.2.17_______ <--(this is heffa)
Nameserver: 10.0.2.1________ <--(our nameserver)

Make sure to use the correct IP addresses for your machine, your PLIP
server, and your nameserver.

The rest of the install should proceed the same as any other network-based
install.
